Education is not the filling of a bucket but the lighting of a fire: by William Butler Yates

We believe that learning should be enjoyable, stimulating and purposeful and have designed our classes to reflect this philosophy. We also believe that true learning takes time and hard work and want to make sure that our students and parents hold to these same principles. Please note that class sizes have been limited and class times extended in order to help us achieve these goals. We have purposed, at this time, not to burden you with numerous rules but rather to inspire you with our vision. We trust that your students will respect this decision.

Thank you for the opportunity to impact your children. Please know that we take this responsibility seriously and are committed to excellence. Our goal is to ensure that each student is given the opportunity to reach his or her God given potential and we are dedicated to working to achieve this goal. We ask that our students do the same, nothing more, nothing less.

Come expecting to work hard, intending to learn, and purposing to participate. We look forward to sharing in your learning experience.

Most of our classes are 1 1/2 hours or longer and 14 - 16 weeks per semester, because we know quality work takes time. The Center for Home Education offers a variety of classes for all levels from kindergarten through high school including: Writing, Math, History, Geography, Government and Science PLUS a number of enrichment classes such as: Art, God's Creation and Me, Economics, and Stage Craft, just to name a few.

Our Cottage Theatre provides a venue where students can showcase their God given talents in Music, Theatre, Voice, Readers Theatre and Speech. Our students are in involved in full Production Classes such as Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, Best Christmas Pageant and many more.

Our Cafe is a place for students and parents to relax and connect with each other. We offer a full espresso bar with specialty drinks, a variety of snacks, ice cream, sodas, juices, coffees, teas, smoothies and more.

The Center for Home Education is a homeschool haven just waiting for you. Drop in anytime. We are located at 5733 Watauga Road, in Watauga, a suburb in NE Fort Worth, Texas just south of Keller!
