Mrs. Gina Farris has homeschooled for 14 years after discovering a love of teaching when her daughter was in 5th grade. She attended Tarrant County College and has worked as a Litigation Paralegal since 1989. She has taught grade levels 2nd through 12th in a variety of subjects including science, chess, aviation and space, handwriting, job/career coaching, literature, physical education, yearbook, journalism, and filmmaking. She is currently looking forward to returning to the classroom after taking time away to serve as a council member and nursery director at her church. From her viewpoint, the invitation to share in your student’s education is a privilege and thereby, encourages students to look inside themselves for God’s gifts and set goals according to His plan. In her spare time she enjoys sewing/quilting, vacationing with family, and capturing God’s world through photography. Her son Kelton is a Junior at the Center and participates in theatre productions and CTAC.
