Suzanne Orr hails originally from North Carolina – where four seasons actually exist! She became a Texan after marrying her husband, Ron, whom she met while pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Sociology at the University of Miami. After moves to Louisiana and Mississippi, the Orrs settled back in Texas and have lived in North Richland Hills for twelve years. Suzanne has always homeschooled her three children, and she completes her sixteen-year homeschooling mom journey in 2017 when her youngest graduates from the Center for Home Education. Her middle child attends TCC, and her oldest will graduate in 2018 from Wake Forest University in NC. Suzanne especially misses the elementary years that were full of fun unit studies! She taught Physical Science and Time Management/Study Skills for several years at a local co-op but most recently has been serving Center families from the front desk. (She also has been known to make an appearance in the Cottage Theatre grown-up shows!) In addition, she is the “Grammar Nazi”/proofreader for a local worldview instructor. Suzanne enjoys theatre, classic movies, reading, laughing, spending time with her family, baseball, football, Christmas lights, and snowmen.
