Teens Activities at the Center for Home Education
This page is dedicated to the teens of CAIA It is our hope that we can provide exciting and meaningful activities for all teens. Please check us out on a regular basis for new opportunities for teens. All of the events hosted by The Center For Home Education are chaperoned by parents. (home educators.) SPEAK OUT NORTH TEXAS is our Speech and Debate Club formed to cultivate future Christian leaders who can apply Biblical values as they gain life skills in order to articulate and lead in an unbelieving world.
THESA RIDERS We are happy to celebrate our 9th season providing the DFW area with competitive and Christ-centered athletic programs for homeschoolers at the high school and junior high level.
PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS: Allen Joanis is the Director of the Group Band Program at the Center for Home Education. Allen completed his professional music education at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, the University of North Texas in Denton, TX, and Radford University in Radford, VA. He has a Bachelor’s of Music degree in Music Education with a specialty in Drumset / Percussion. Allen’s education included all of the brass, woodwind, string, and percussion instruments as well as rigorous study in piano, music theory, music arranging / composition, music engraving, conducting, jazz studies, song writing, and production. Allen is also the Lead Coordinator for Gateway's Guitar University and is currently in the IEP process for the Gateway worship team. Gateway Worship is an Integrity Music artist (www.integritymusic.com).
