Algebra 2: Donna Joy Boxerman
Algebra 2 is a continuation of essential algebra concepts from Algebra1. Complete course description is available at bjupress.com. See Scope and Sequence.
Prerequisites: Algebra 1, or approval of instructor.
Materials Needed: Spiral notebook, notebook paper and pencils. Scientific calculators (graphing ones not necessary), graph paper and a ruler are required.

BJU Algebra 2 Teacher Edition 2nd Edition, ISBN: 9781579243869 (The Teacher Edition is recommended for parents to be able to check their student's homework.)
Time: This class meets twice per week for 1 hr 15 mins each time.
This is a two 16-week semester, 8 month, class, totaling 80 hours of class time.
Free assessment/placement tests are available at the Center and are recommended prior to the first day of class in order to assure proper enrollment.
Biography:
DonnaJoy Boxerman has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Secondary Education Certification, and a Masters of Education in Mathematics for Secondary Education. She started teaching mathematics in public schools at 20, and has gone on to teach at 5 Christian schools, a community college, a university, and at least 3 home school coops. She has over 18 years of experience teaching mathematics. She has been homeschooling for 20 years, since the oldest started kindergarten, and now 3 of her
children are in college.
