P.E. – Sports for AllTeacher: Jeffrey Chadwick
Cost: $10/week for 32 weeks
$10 material fee
$15 lab fee
Do you have children, boys or girls, 3rd grade -12th grade who might be interested in football, basketball, baseball, and other team sports, but were afraid of being around others that might be “better” or intimidating? Maybe you couldn’t find the right program to let your student experience a variety of sports that was low cost.
Sports for All! is a P.E./Athletic year long elective course that introduces students to the play and rules of football, basketball, baseball, kickball, and volleyball. While providing one day a week of light exercise, Coach Jeffrey will conduct this class in a safe and friendly environment while promoting co-ed teamwork, fairness, and Christian competition. Older students will be encouraged to learn to help coach and mentor younger students. Football will be approached with the “flag” concept, so there is no need to worry about being tackled. Students will be encouraged to participate in all sports. Students/parents will be given the choice of changing into sports clothes or staying in their clothes they wore to school. Much of our activity will be outside when weather permits. We will also hopefully have access to a local gym option from time-to-time. The Center for Home Education Dress and Behavior codes will be STRICTLY enforced.
There is an equipment fee in addition to standard tuition. While no uniform required, students and parents will be given the opportunity to purchase a class t-shirt.
$25.00 for semester to cover cost of new balls and other field markers, equipment, etc.
