Here is an Anatomy and Physiology class for high school. We will be using the textbook from Apologia: Exploring Creation with Advanced Biology (2nd Edition).
The material in this book emphasizes connecting creation to the Creator! Designed for high school students possibly interested in careers in science or other fields, this curriculum contains sixteen modules that cover human anatomy and physiology, including the skeletal, nervous, endocrine, lymphatic, digestive, respiratory, and reproductive systems. The student workbook will be used along with the textbook. We will also do some hands on labs to explore and understand what we have learned.Â
Homework will consist of reading and workbook assignments. They may also be asked to occasionally complete independent research on some topics at home for class discussions. Homework will take 1-2 hours weekly depending on the student.Â
Students will need the mentioned textbook and workbook, a pencil and note taking paper or a spiral for class. I recommend a 3 ring binder for notes and handouts.Â
