From prep to clean up, students will learn proper kitchen etiquette for cooking and baking!


They will learn:

  • Their way around the kitchen

  • The tools needed to measure out food

  • How to read a recipe and bring it together

  • Knife safety and skills 

  • How to cook different types of meat, main course dishes, and baked goods.  

  • How to cook on the stove and with an oven 


The goal with this class is for students to start with simple meals (tacos or scrambled eggs), and then have the skills and confidence to take on more complex recipes. 


Supplies needed:

  • Aprons are highly suggested


This is a 16-week (one semester) class.
