General Science is a course that covers a wide range of topics, including the scientific method, designing experiments, simple machines, geology, archaeology, biology, and more. The course puts a significant emphasis on Earth Science, including astronomy, meteorology, oceanography, earth study, geology, paleontology, and environmental science.
Throughout the course, students will engage in hands-on experiments to gain practical experience and learn how to record and report data.

- Apologia Exploring Creation with General Science, 3rd Edition ISBN 978-1-946506-27-6
- Exploring Creation with General Science Student Notebook (3rd Edition) ISBN: 978-1-946506-30-6
- A folder to keep returned work
- A pencil/pen to take notes in the notebook
Students can expect approximately two hours of homework per week. At the end of each Module, there will be a short quiz that covers the information in the student notebook.
