In Geography through Art your student will explore people, food, and art from around the world. This is an interactive class where we will be learning about different parts of the world and then we will create a form of artwork found in that area. Sometimes we will explore the foods from those areas too!
There will be some homework that will consist of reading and worksheets. This should take approximately 30-60 minutes per week.
There will be two projects to be completed at home - one in the fall and one in the spring. Students will choose a topic that interests them and they will create a research project. This will include a written paper and a visual representation of their chosen topic.
There is no textbook required for this class.
