My name is Mrs. McCanlies, and this will be my sixth year teaching with the Center for Home Education. I have been teaching since 2008, and have taught public and homeschool courses from 3rd to 12th grade! I have even been an adjunct professor at Texas Women's University, training teachers in the Reading Department. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in education from TWU, majoring in reading education. When not learning or teaching, I love cuddling with my four dogs, traveling, gardening, and drinking coffee!
