Heather Stauffer has taught at the Center for the past seven years. She is passionate about helping students understand math, in particular, as it was her least favorite subject until she had her "light bulb" moment. She earned her B.A. in Liberal Studies from CSU, Fullerton, and her teaching certificate from Point Loma Nazarene University, Arcadia. Prior to moving to Texas, she taught public school social studies.

Heather greatly enjoys working with our senior students in Senior Session, and helping them create a true community among themselves. This coming year, she will graduate her son with the rest of the graduating class. In her spare time, you can find Heather hanging out with her family, reading, and traveling.
