My husband and I homeschooled our three children for 14 years. After our youngest graduated in the Center’s Class of 2013, I taught Math 7/8 and Geometry at the Center the following year. Now I’m returning because I miss the students, teaching, and math!Â
My Bachelor's degree in math and Master's in education have enhanced my passion for mentoring, tutoring, and teaching. Since high school, I have tutored anyone who asked in various math and math-related subjects and worked with students ages eight to 50+! Last semester brought new challenges as our oldest grandchild called regularly for long-distance support in college physics and pre-calculus.

Since coming to Texas 30+ years ago, I have volunteered at our local library, a nearby elementary school, the YMCA, the Center, and currently in our church’s preschool area. I enjoy reading old books, learning about native flowering plants for my garden, and finding ways to enjoy vintage textiles.
