Teacher
Monique James is a Chicagoan that made Fort Worth home in 2020. She and her husband,
Marquis, got married in 2003 and, right away, started their ministry journey. Together they
traveled to help plant churches and serve where needed. They shared a passion for music and
media ministries and were worship pastors in Danville, Kentucky, for ten years. Mrs. James and
her husband homeschool their four daughters Madison (18), Mylah (16), Mira (9), and Misa (3).
Mrs. James attended Rhema Bible Training Center and choreographed the annual event,
Rockets Over Rhema, and other productions. She also taught voice and musical theatre at
Anthem Road Academy in Oklahoma. Mrs. James holds a Media Communications certification
from Full Sail University and is a third-year Media Communications Bachelor of Science
program student. Mrs. James teaches ballet, modern, jazz, Caribbean, tap, and many other
dance styles and is thrilled to join the team at The Center for Home Education as Tap Dance
Instructor.
