Students will analyze various genres of American Literature, such as short stories, autobiographies, and poetry as well as learn the background of 25 authors during 1500-1860. This course will teach the student how to write outlines, summaries, and persuasive, expository, narrative essays. This is a 2 credit class: 1 credit English and 1 credit American History.
