Making the decision to attend college can be challenging and does require a great deal of planning and preparation.
Your performance on college entrance exams is instrumental in determining your college choice. Universities and colleges throughout the U.S. require applicants to take the SAT or ACT as part of their evaluation package. This course will prepare you for both tests.
Both the ACT and the SAT contain verbal and math question types. THIS COURSE ONLY FOCUSES ON THE MATH. SAT/ACT MATH Preparation will give you all the information you need to do well on the math questions of the ACT and the new SAT. This course provides you with a complete math review of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and basic statistics, all a part of the SAT/ACT exams.
The course will also cover how to actually take the math portion focusing on time management, what questions to answer and what questions to guess, how to physically and mentally prepare, how to stay focused on the exam, and options to consider after you receive your scores.
The textbook required will be posted here soon.
